SEEDING IDEAS | SPREADING CHANGE
Polln is a research-based consultancy, committed to understanding the complex systems that
inter-connect people and communities, the built and natural environment, and the imperative to transition to fair and sustainable energy usage.
We specialise in exploring, analysing and aligning those spaces where organisational processes meet human behaviour, to create more sustainable, equitable and enduring pathways to change.
As people-centred questioners and collaborators, we think critically about each client's goals, challenges and programme ambitions, to identify where to prioritise and focus precious resource, to achieve the most enduring and effective change.
PEOPLE | PLACE | PLANET
Polln Ltd was established in 2023 by Pippa Palmer, Research Strategist at LSBU’s School of Built Environment & Architecture, as a response to the urgent demand for evidence-based roadmaps and strategies for those sectors tasked with responding to the challenges of global decarbonisation.
From a background in delivering go-to-market and communication strategies based for commercial clients, Pippa’s recent academic research portfolio explores the intersection of the behavioural, market and engineering challenges of the net zero transition.
Polln now brings together a team of researchers, creatives and designers to apply the same systems thinking, behavioural insights and research methodologies, to help clients create more sustainable, equitable and enduring pathways to change.
“It has never been more urgent or important for every organisation - whether private or public - to respond intelligently to the pressing need to make fast-paced, effective change, if we are to forge an equitable, sustainable future for all.”
PIPPA PALMER | FOUNDER
Reflecting our strong ethos for cooperation and collaboration, Polln is proud to contribute freely to sector committees and work groups, and disseminate important findings on public platforms, to help spread learnings and accelerate the pace of change.
